chasing time, chasing quota.. already feels like i'm in hell..
er..scratch that...
anyways...
my mind's just messed up right now and i have these quota to meet, clients to convince and everything else is coming my way..
i should take a break... yup.. i guess that's what i need..
i dunno why i just can't keep up with my 100/day edits.. it reaall feels like a hunch in my back..
well anyway, January is over and... February here i come..
"practice makes perfect" and that is what i'm actually doing right now. practicing to make 100 or more edits.

As much as I wanted to keep memories of my past and present, some latest media players just can’t hold all of it enough. I’m always stuck with limited options. Package contents include slideshows, integrated plug and view feature, full access to online music stores, lightweight magnesium casing, removable and rechargeable battery, and free channels on Zencast.

Though no matter how cool this gadget could be, we still need to know its pros and cons to keep us from getting one. http://www.widgetsandgadgets.com/creativezen-vision.html sees Creative Zen Vision as convenient on controls, connectors and jacks for audio-video, power adapter, headphones, compact flash, USB 2.0, and the optional docking cradle, comprehensive media formats and built-in equalizer for much better sound customization. There could be some problems with huge video files though. It causes player to freeze. And some delays for recording due to lacking of sensitivity department in the built-in microphone.

But for its overall package, it is an impressive second entry from Creative into the portable media player market. Making digital life at it best.

Do you remember how it feels to be delivering your first speech or like being on the stage talking infront of a crowd? I don't know any about it exactly, 'coz i've never been to places like that. Its seems pretty scary to me.
Anyways, I have an appointment today with a boss from Customs, and this is gonna be my very first presentation, ever. I am really trembling right now, and i don't know exactly what to feel. I can already feel my heart pumpin' to the highest level. And it really feels like there are hundreds of butterflies flying in my stomach, like wanting to get out and be set free. Wish me luck. I hope everything will be nice and easy.

i'm on marketing

I had never been a member of any sales company or in any other marketing team before. But even before I came to Stickymedia Solutions, Inc. I had always wanted to be involved in marketing or even worse in the HR department. lol. Unexpectedly, when we had our general meeting last January, our boss was like explaining and talking about making profit, or profit sharing, or something like commissions... right then and there, I told myself, I should be one of them. I need to be. I crave for learning marketing and here it is, right in front of my face. This is gonna be my chance of a new world, new door, and new opportunities. Ahem.. and? more money I guess.. lol.. I really find marketing interesting and challenging.
And now, here I am. In a new and different world. The world of "Marketing". It does sound pretty scary though, but what the heck. All I need to have are guts. To talk to people and of course ... M A K E a S A L E!!! I need to stick that to my M I N D. lol.

The Lettermen "Live in CDO"

Last January 16, 2007, The Lettermen came to Cagayan de Oro City. I actually went there to witness the concert. Thanks to the cdokay people who gave me an opportunity to be there. Well, as part of cdokay, i was tasked to write an article about the concert and my experience of being there. The Lettermen were very famous back in the late 1960's, i don't know how you could imagine me going there with all those oldies. But guess what, i was not the only 23-year old audience witnessing the show, there were more than many from what i have expected. Though their music does really aged like forever but it was unexpectedly beautiful. All the love songs touched my heart and flew me to the air of madness. If you were there, i'm sure you'd be feeling the same way. There was one quote from Tony Butala, the only original member of the group, he said that "Love songs never really get out of style". And i definitely agree. That is why their music never ceases to stay behind. Their music transcends all language barriers and displays variety of musical styles that everyone can enjoy. Their ballads know no boundaries. It touches hearts of the young and old. I guess we don't really need to judge music by its time, but by it's melody, lyrics and notes. Frankly, i did enjoy the show. It was tremendously great for a first time experience.
